Carbon Dioxide Storage Cylinders
These cylinders are filled with and store the carbon dioxide extinguishing agent.
Pilot Cylinder Box
The pilot cylinder is housed in this box, where pressure is supplied to open the valve of the storage cylinders containing the extinguishing agent.
Spray Head
The head releases the carbon dioxide extinguishing agent in the protected area.
Control Panel/Battery Power Supply
Control Panel
The control panel is equipped with manual/automatic/fire indicator lamps, emergency abort button, manual/automatic selector switch, etc.
Battery Power Supply
This will operate in the event of a power failure, with the battery supplying power to the fire extinguishing system.
Manual Activation Device
This device can be used to manually start up the extinguishing system. It includes power/activation indicator lamps, activation push button, and emergency abort button.
Selector Valve
The selector valve is installed when a bank of cylinders is used to protect multiple hazard areas. The selector valve opens to select the particular protected area where the extinguishing agent will discharge.
Detector
Heat detector, smoke detector, etc. are used to detect fire.
Gas Discharge Warning Lamp
Gas discharge warning lamps are installed at the entrances and exits of protected hazard areas. When carbon dioxide is released within the area, the gas discharge warning lamp lights up to warn people against entering the area.
Warning Speaker
Before the carbon dioxide extinguishing agent is released, an announcement is made over the speaker to evacuate people.
